Hi HC ´05,

Great to hear from you! We are settled into our apartment in Pittsburgh and are preparing for our first game, Saturday afternoon in Philadelphia. This is a big rivalry so it should be a fun game.. my first as a Penguin! Training camp was short, but very intense. There was a lot to learn in a very short time, but I think I'm getting a grasp on it. We've been at the rink for 7 hours per day for the past 3 days. Lots of meetings!

I also wanted to thank you for giving me the opportunity to come to Banska Bystrica and play for your club. It was an experience Emily and I will never forget. You, as well as all the members of the organization made us feel welcome from the moment we set foot in Slovakia and we cannot tell you how much we appreciated it. I hope we can remain friends long into the future!
